Insert the Memory Stick Duo™ media in the PC

Use one of the following methods to enable file copying from a PC to Memory Stick Duo™ media. The method is the same for copying files from a PS3™ system.

Using a USB cable

Use a commercially available USB cable to connect the PC to the PSP™ system with Memory Stick Duo™ media inserted.

Using a Memory Stick USB reader/writer

Remove the Memory Stick Duo™ media from the PSP™ system and copy the file from the PC using a commercially available Memory Stick USB reader/writer. A reader/writer that is compatible with Memory Stick Duo™ media is required.

Using a Memory Stick™ slot on a PC

Remove the Memory Stick Duo™ media from the PSP™ system and insert it directly into the card slot of the PC. A PC equipped with a Memory Stick™ slot is required.

Hint

A Memory Stick Duo Adaptor (model number MSAC-M2: a Sony product sold separately) is required if your device can handle only a standard-size Memory Stick™.
